Description

Dominica’s World Creole Music Festival 2026 is a three-day musical celebration devoted to Afro-Caribbean and Creole sounds that brings local, regional, and international acts to Roseau, Dominica in the last week of October. Falling on October 23-25, this year marks the festival’s 26th anniversary. Each year, this Caribbean festival delivers more rhythm, culture, and high-energy performance. A signature celebration of Caribbean expression, the festival showcases genres like Cadence-lypso, Kompa, Zouk, Bouyon, Afrobeat, and more, creating a soundscape that pulses with history and heart. Over the years, it’s become a magnet for music lovers worldwide, drawing crowds not only for its music but for the immersive cultural experience it offers. This annual event lineup has featured the sounds of top class artists including Steel Pulse, Tiwa Savage, Spice and Vybz Kartel, Romain Virgo, Kes the Band, WCK and many more. The festival caps off Dominica’s Independence celebrations and aligns with International Creole Day—so expect not just music, but a full-on cultural immersion. From rich Creole cuisine to handcrafted art and clothing, the entire weekend is an ode to identity, rhythm, and cultural celebration.
